KAOLIN IN PAPER INDUSTRY
Kaolin is a white, friable, fire-resistant clay, mainly composed of kaolinite minerals and some other minerals such as illite, montmoerillonite, quartz. Kaolin is created by the chemical weathering of aluminum silicate minerals.

In the paper industry, Kaolin plays a very important role
- Used as a filler to make the paper smoother.
- Increases tightness, reduces light transmission and increases ink absorption to the best level.
- Normal paper contains 20% kaolin, some types contain up to 40% kaolin. Normally, one ton of paper requires 250-300 kg of kaolin.
- The quality of kaolin used for paper is determined by the whiteness, dispersion and uniformity of the particle groups. Sand is an impurity that reduces the quality of kaolin, because it reduces the gloss of the surface.
Quang Binh Bohemia Kaolin Co., Ltd specializes in providing the market with many types of high quality Kaolin and different fineness to serve all industrial production needs.-Packed in 50kg/bag or 1 ton Jumbo bag.
